This Laboratory is the fundamental infrastructure of ZIUR. It is used to run cybersecurity tests on components, systems, processes and different industrial technologies that are sensitive to being exposed to a cyber attack. The laboratory has equipment that allows simulating a network in a small-scale industrial environment, according to the penetration of these technologies in the industrial processes of Gipuzkoa. This infrastructure allows to know in a practical and experimental way the implications of cybersecurity and the application of technology in advanced manufacturing models. Through different technologies and cybersecurity tests, we demonstrate potential hypotheses about existing risks, obtaining essential knowledge for the digitization of manufacturing processes. The processes that can be carried out in this laboratory are: DEMONSTRATION OF INDUSTRIAL PROCESSES, the laboratory is a place of training and learning, it serves for the experimentation and training of the personnel of companies, technology centers, universities and FP centers ; NETWORK SECURITY LABORATORY, this laboratory simulates an industrial process equivalent to those found in companies in Gipuzkoa. Its infrastructure is flexible to accommodate a large number of network elements, and it is designed to easily create independent networks, zones and conduits; PRODUCT SAFETY LABORATORY, the focus is the low-level analysis of the components of the industrial processes closest to the production line and other equipment that will be connected to the industrial network; INDUSTRIAL CYBERSECURITY LABORATORY, the laboratory is intended to carry out verification tests on the components or on certain complete systems of automation and industrial control, studying their cybersecurity, in order to detect what weaknesses are in its deployment.

Software for the management an use of the physical component

Software tools used to manage, programme and configure the laboratory´s physical components. For example: Simatic-S7, Unity Pro, LabVIEW, etc.

Software tools used for managing laboratory communications (VPNs,...).
