A virus closes several factories of TSMC, one of the manufacturers of iPhone
Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC), one of the largest manufacturers semiconductors and processor in the world, was recently forced to close several factories during the weekend, because of a computer virus that apparently could be a variant of WannaCry.
Its factories were exposed to the virus because of a service provider installed an infected software, which spread quickly more than 10.000 machines.
TSMC has reported that its data and confidential information haven’t been compromised and that they have already taken measures to strengthen their security measures.
