Viator suffers payment card data breach that affects 1.4 Million users
Tripadvisor's Viator confirmed data theft of more than 1.4 million customers. The incident was discovered beginning September when fraudulent charges were made to costumers. Among the information stolen customers may have had their names, billing addresses, email addresses, encrypted credit or debit card numbers, and card expiration dates compromised. It's also possible that the attackers gained access to their email addresses, encrypted passwords. Therefore, users were advised to change their passwords in other web sites where the password might be used.
