US airport websites hit by DDoS
The cybercriminal group KillNet has claimed responsibility for distributed denial of service (DDoS) attacks that took down the websites of several US airports, including those in Los Angeles, Chicago, Orlando, Denver, Mississippi and Kentucky.
DDoS attacks overwhelmed the servers hosting these websites, making it impossible for travellers to log on and get updates on their scheduled flights or service bookings.
