Unauthorized access to a Nitro database
The global document management company, Nitro, reported, on October 21, on limited access to one of its databases by an unauthorized third party.
The affected database supports certain online services and has been used primarily for the storage of information related to Nitro's free online products, not containing user or customer documents.
After what happened, the appropriate measures were taken to isolate the incident. The company ensures that there is no evidence that any confidential or financial data has been compromised and that its IT environment is secure, without having a material impact on its operations.
Currently, there is an ongoing investigation and security measures have been raised.
