TalkTalk security breach affects 4 million users
TalkTalk, broadband and telecom provider from UK, has announced a data breach that affect more than 4 million customers. The stolen data includes name, address, birth date, phone number and e-mail TalkTalk account details and credit card number associated with the account. A spokesperson told that TalkTalk website was attacked by a DDoS, but a DDoS do not explain the data loss. The spokesman also told that not all information was encrypted.
