Hackers steal confidential information to Pearson VUE
Pearson VUE, a company in charge of training and issue professional certificates that counts among its major clients Microsoft, Oracle and Cisco, confirmed an attack of information theft. Pearson VUE released an official statement saying that they has been attack that stole confidential information from a limited group of users. Information leakage occurred in the Credential Manager system responsible for managing certificates and professional licenses to its customers. Official statement did not expressly indicate the stolen information, but indicate that extremely sensitive information like credit card numbers or social security was not stolen.
