Several McDonald’s subsidiaries suffer a data breach

The fast food chain, McDonald’s, reported that some of its customers and employees information had been exposed after a data breach which affected its markets in South Korea, Taiwan and United States.

There is no evidence that the security incident, which was discovered by third party consultants dedicated to investigate unauthorised activity in TI networks of McDonald’s, compromised sensitive customer payments information.
