Ransomware infection in Ottawa hospital
The Ottawa hospital in Canada was infected by a versión of WinPLock ransomware, which affected four of the nearly 10,000 computers in the center. According to Kate Eggins hospital spokeswoman, infected computers were quickly eliminated and the incident did not affect patient information because of a correct backups policy of all assets.
