Ransomware against Open University of Catalonia

The Universitat Oberta de Catalunya (Open University of Catalonia, UOC) has reported that a ransomware-type cyberattack has infected the institution's central servers. According to the UOC on social networks, access to its virtual campus was affected, but not personal data.

The incident has practically been resolved after the analysis and tests carried out, and the incident has also been reported to the Agència de Ciberseguretat de Catalunya (Catalan Cybersecurity Agency).
