Michigan electricity utility affected by ransomware attack
BWL, a water and electricity provider in Michigan, has needed a week to recover their normal activity after being affected by a ransomware. The attack was detected April 25th and forced disconnection of all systems, including telephone, until going back to normal on May 2nd. According to the company, the data of customers and employees has not been affected.
