Interruption in the availability of the services offered by Managed.com
The provider of hosting and support solutions for websites, Managed.com, has suffered a security incident based on ransomware REvil in its IT infrastructure.
The cyberattack was detected on 16th of November, when the company decided to disconnect its systems from the network, including customer websites, to limit the spread of infection and ensure the integrity of its users' information.
Some of the data compromised were email, DNS and FTP servers, RDP access points, online databases and certain hosting solutions managed by WordPress and DotNetNuke.
Currently, IT and cyber security teams are working to eliminate the threat and restore all systems.
