Hundreds of vBulletin forums hacked

A hacker has posted on Twitter being the author of the theft and dissemination of data from more than 800,000 online forums user accounts based on vBulletin. Among the information stolen would be email addresses, password hashes and unique IP addresses. According to the hacker, the information theft occurred between January and February of 2017 taking advantage of the existence of forums that used vBulletin vulnerable versions which were not conveniently updated.

The web pastebin.com has published a list with the addresses of the forums affected by the theft of information.
