HelseCERT warns about the theft of health data to more than 3 million Norwegians
On January 8 South-Eastern Norway Regional Health Authority, an organization that manages the health of half of the country including Oslo, reported that they had suffered a leakage of health information that could affect almost 3 million people.
HelseCERT, Computer Emergency Response Team of the Norwegian health sector and Sykehuspartner HF, a company belonging to South-Eastern reported that they had found evidence of unusual traffic within the internal network.
Different security researchers criticize the absence of security measures implemented by the organization; On the other hand, the Minister of Health has established the necessary measures to eliminate the threat and mitigate the consequences.
