Fujifilm shuts down network due to suspected ransomware cyber attack

Japanese multinational conglomerate Fujifilm was forced to shut down parts of its global network after the company detected a suspected external ransomware attack.

The company, in an official statement, has indicated that it is currently conducting an investigation into possible unauthorized access to its server from outside the company. As part of this investigation, the network is partially closed and disconnected from personnel outside the organization.
