Fintech 2gether, victim of a subtraction of more than 1 bitcoin million euros
The Spanish fintech, 2gether, dedicated to financial technology, has notified that it has been the victim of a subtraction of approximately 1,183 million euros in the form of cryptocurrencies, such as BTC or ETH. In addition, they reported that passwords have been affected and, although they are encrypted, they recommend updating them..
Given the impossibility of directly reimbursing their customers the amount stolen, from 2gether, they have offered the options of exchanging that reimbursement for 2GT tokens, company shares or waiting to get the necessary financing to restore the lost funds.
As published in their official notice, they continue to investigate and collect all the information necessary to process the corresponding complaint to the Spanish law enforcement.
