FIN4: target Stock Trading
Researchers at FireEye has published more than 100 companies, mainly pharmaceutical and healthcare, have been victims of attack spearphishing since mid 2013. The responsibility for these attacks, called FIN4 group attacked companies were involved in the process of acquiring or merging . Their goal was to obtain insider able to modify or break the stock prices of these companies. It is suspected that the attackers could have worked on Wall Street because they possess great knowledge of the sector.
