Europol disrupts VPNLab.net
Europol, in a coordinated action with several European countries and the United States, has seized or disrupted 15 servers hosting the VPNLab.net service, a VPN service provider that was being used to support criminal acts for the deployment of ransomware and other cybercrime activities.
As a result of the investigation and the information found on the servers, the authorities notified more than 100 companies that they were at risk of cyber-attacks and are working with them to mitigate their exposure.
