EasyJet airline victim of a data breach
Through an official statement, EasyJet reported about a non-authorized access to theirs systems on April.
By information provided by the airline, once incident detected, they engaged forensics experts to investigate the issues, also they notified the incident to pertinent authorities.
The forensic investigation on affected systems, shows that cyber criminals accessed to user info about 9 millions of customers. Compromised information contains data about names of the users, email address and travel details.
Currently, the company is only contacting affected users and has set a deadline of May 26th to notify them.
