DDoS attack on DNS service provider out of service to multiple sites like PlayStation Network and Twitter
The manage DNS service of Dyn, a cloud-based Internet Management company, suffered several DDoS attacks disrupted access to many sites as important as New York Times, Reddit, Twitter, Spotify, eBay, Netflix or CNN. The attack was carried out mainly by 50,000 - 100,000 internet devices of things (IoT) controlled by Mirai botnet.
