Data leakage in the e-commerce company Tokopedia
Tokopedia, an Indonesian technology company specializing in electronic commerce, has suffered data breach from several million user records. The cyberattacker responsible initially published the data of 15 million Tokopedia users on the dark web as a sample of the content he had obtained, to later put the rest of the information up for sale to a total of 91 million users for $ 5,000.
The stolen information contained user data such as full names, emails, phone numbers, password hashes, and dates of birth. In addition, it included details related to the Tokopedia profile, such as account creation date, last login, email activation codes, password reset codes, location details and messaging ID.
