Cyberattack at Trivium Packaging may result in a layoff

05/06/2021

Following a worldwide cyberattack against the IT infrastructure of Trivium Packaging, its division Trivium Packaging Ibérica SA, located in Meis (Spain) and dedicated to the manufacture of metal containers and packaging, was forced to paralyse the activity of both its offices and its production plant.

In response, the company is investigating what happened and is working to restore activity as soon as possible. The company is also considering the possibility of applying a temporary layoff plan to its workers in view of the reduced workload.
