07/27/2022

The National Police have arrested the 2 alleged perpetrators of a cyberattack on the Radioactivity Alert Network (RAR) of the Directorate General for Civil Protection and Emergencies (DGPGE), carried out between March and June 2021.

This police operation, called GAMMA, determined that the sabotage was directed against the 2 main components of the RAR, and attributed it to 2 former employees of a company contracted by the DGPGE for the maintenance of the RAR system.
