Cyberattack on Menéame with data leaks

Menéame has been the target of an attack in which some users' data was leaked. The company details, in its official statement, that on 14 September they detected the first attempted attack, and on subsequent dates partial user information was published in a forum.

The attack is estimated to have gained access to the email, encrypted password and/or name of 41.5% of users, which corresponds to approximately 17% of active users, out of a total of more than 660,000 registered users.
