Cyberattack against Sierra Wireless

Canadian company Sierra Wireless, a leading global provider of IoT solutions, has confirmed that it was the victim of a ransomware cyberattack targeting its internal IT infrastructure and corporate website on 20th of March.

Although countermeasures were taken immediately in accordance with existing cybersecurity policies, a part of its business was disrupted. The resumption of production activities and the start of the recovery of the affected internal systems took place on Friday 26th of March.
