Conti ransomware attacked on Irish Health Service
The Irish Health Service (HSE Ireland) has confirmed that on 14th of May it was the victim of a Conti ransomware cyberattack on its IT systems, forcing part of them offline and resulting in the disruption or slowing down of part of its health and social care services.
According to Irish health minister, the impact has been severe and the government will not pay the ransom. At present, some of the affected services remain offline.
