Cloudflare blocks largest DDoS cyberattack on record
US-based Cloudflare, which operates a content delivery network and provides internet security services and distributed domain name servers, has reported blocking a DDoS attack with peaks of up to 2 Tbps, making it the largest to date.
The cyberattack, which lasted only one minute, combined DNS amplification and UDP flooding techniques. It is estimated to have been launched from 15,000 bots.
