$100 million stolen from Central Bank of Bangladesh
Hackers were able to access the computer systems of the Central Bank of Bangladesh and transfer 100 million of dollars from the account that the Bank has in the the reserve Federal Bank of USA to several casinos in the Philippines. They came to try up to 35 requests for almost 1000 million of dollars. However a spelling error in the name of one of the recipients, "Shalika Fandation" instead of "Shalika Foundation" raised the alarms and prevented the largest theft of history. This incident has forced the Governor of the Central Bank of Bangladesh Atiur Rahman to resign.
