28 million Taringa accounts, hacked


According to LeakBase, the popular social network Taringa has suffered an attack on its servers that has obtained data from almost 28 million users of the platform. Filtered data contains usernames, email addresses, and account passwords. In an attempt to protect its users, Taringa is currently sending emails for them to change the passwords of their accounts.

It is not yet known how the hackers could get access to the database.
