12 million bath stolen from malware infected ATMs
The central bank of Thailand has shut down about half of its ATMs, suspecting an Eastern European gang of being responsible for planting malware on the machines. Apparently some of the 3300 ATMs manufactured by NCR performed cardless transactions to spew out up to 40,000 baht cash per transaction.
