One of the activities included in the Plan for Trust in Digital Life (Plan de Confianza en el Ámbito Digital) is the celebration of an event aimed at focusing the interest of all audiences towards this discipline, so important in our daily lives. The venue, organised by INCIBE will take place from 5 to 7 December, 2014, and will be held in the Pabellón Multiusos I of Madrid.

As we want this event to be your point of contact with cyber-security, we have invited a host of people from the sector to develop a wide range of activities with us. We are sure you will be able to find something of interest in the programme, whatever your particular profile is. Whether you are young people looking for a start in the cyber-security world or parents worried about cyber-security at home, we have organised activities that will be of interest to you.

You will be able to take part in free technical workshops organised by dedicated professionals in which you will increase your knowledge of subjects from forensic analysis to ethical hacking. You will also be able to attend talks given by speakers of national and international standing in the IT field, such as Jeff Moss (@thedarktangent), Richard Stallman or Chema Alonso (@chemaalonso).

And if you have time between the talks and the workshops, you will be able to spend time in the Jobs Forum, where different companies from the sector will be recruiting suitable candidates. Universities will also be present and will be looking to advertise their cyber-security study opportunities, if you are thinking in specialising in this field.

But, if what you want to do is to show your potential and put your skills to a practical test, you will be able to do so either online or at the actual event. If what you are interested in is development, you will also have a space at CyberCamp, and, along the way, the opportunity to win one of our prizes. Furthermore if you are an entrepreneur and you have an idea related to cyber-security which you are still thinking about, come along as well and we will give you a platform to show investors and experts that lending a hand is worth their while.

So, put it in your calendar, and come along to learn, to browse, to practise, to find a job, or simply to get a better look at this field so important for the digital world we live in nowadays.
