We are getting closer to the second edition of CyberCamp, the cybersecurity event organised by INCIBE, which started last year with the aim of bringing together young talent in cybersecurity. This year, it will be held in the Barclaycard Center in Madrid between 26 and 29 November.
To detect and identify the best talent in Spain, as in the last edition, we have organised a series of technical challenges, on this occasion adapted for different target audiences.
At CyberCamp 2015, we will have individual challenges, team challenges, and CyberOlympics, the latter aimed at teams of school pupils between 13 and 18 years of age.
The individual challenges will be carried out in two stages: one qualifying stage that will take place online in two stages, and a final in-person stage that the 40 best placed participants in the previous phases will attend, which will take place during the event itself, on Saturday 28 November.
Starting today, on 17 July, the first of the two online qualifying stages will begin. Participants will be able to test their skills between 17 and 26 July, inclusive. The topics selected for these individual challenges are as follows:
- Reverse engineering
- Forensic analysis
- Web vulnerabilities
Each day from the start of this first qualifying stage, different tests will be unlocked by category. Points will be awarded to participants as they complete the different tests, in order to assess the areas in which they excel, and thus identify the best future cybersecurity experts.
We invite you all to participate in this first stage, and put your cybersecurity technical skills to the test. The second qualifying stage will take place after the summer. You can keep up to date with the news related to the challenges through the CyberCamp 2015 website and through our profiles on social networks.
Good luck to everyone!
