Descripción: 

CodeWrights GmbH, en coordinación con CERT@VDE, informó de esta vulnerabilidad crítica a ENDRESS+HAUSER, por la que un atacante con derechos de acceso de un usuario autorizado o de un administrador, podría provocar una denegación de servicio, una pérdida de credenciales o una ejecución de código.

Solución: 

Actualizar a:

  • FieldCare versión 2.16;
  • DeviceCare versión 1.07.05;
  • Field Xpert versión 1.05.05;
  • Servidor de Conectividad OPC UA versión 1.3.7818.
Detalle: 

Las versiones de Apache log4net, anteriores a la 2.0.10, no deshabilitan las entidades externas XML al analizar los archivos de configuración de log4net. Esto permite ataques basados en XXE en aplicaciones que aceptan archivos de configuración de log4net controlados por atacantes. Se ha asignado el identificador CVE-2018-1285 para esta vulnerabilidad.
